Headhunted several times, Susie has a wealth of administrative and business skills coupled with in-depth IT experience. She has handled rock stars and theatre companies, arranged tours and events, worked in the offshore finance industry, and extensively in management software. She also has a horse called Bob and fits in a bit of affiliated eventing when time allows.

Sally has more than 25 years experience breeding horses and ponies - Morrigan Stud www.morriganstud.com was established 25 years ago as Morgan Stud. The whole family ride and the chief aim of the stud has been to breed decent riding and competition ponies for the girls and boys to ride. Her experience of the pony market has been from buying, selling and finding ponies for the frustrated non-horsey parents.
Sally knows from experience the difficulties of promoting and selling quality, reliable animals and the difficulties breeders have of finding quality reliable buyers!

Tam has graduated with an Equine Business Management degree at the University of the West of England, Hartpury College, Gloucester. She is an active member of her local RC, competing successfully nationally and internationally as part of the Welsh RC SJ team with her squad of Dun performance ponies.
Through growing up in the ranks of The Pony Club she achieved her B test and has the knowledge and understanding of the need to produce and provide top class horses and ponies that perform in every discipline.
Tam is putting her degree into practice, to deal with the marketing and advertising aspects for the IPS Auction. She is also more than happy to take any enquiries about Affiliated Show horses and ponies, please feel free to ask; no question is too small.
Meirion Jones
Meirion Jones has been breeding at Machno Stud for over 30 years. He comes from a strong farming family who have farmed the challenging uplands of Snowdonia in North Wales for generations: Meirion has applied his excellent and thorough stockmanship methods alongside the accumulated knowledge gathered from his years of experience with horses to develop an impressive stud, and an equally impressive list of International Superstars. The man himself is a reflection of all of this, like his ponies he is a rising star and ‘one to watch’.
Meirion’s career to date demonstrates the breadth and depth of experience that along with his talent and temperament as a breeder go a long way to explain his undoubted success.
He has worked with polo ponies and cowboys to 8 horse hitch teams in the U.S.A. and managed the youngstock at Broadstone Stud in the U.K.
Meirion was solely responsible for the award-winning pig unit at Llawr Ynys, Betws-y-Coed, applying his high farming standards in fertility, nutrition, breeding and herd health.
Working across Europe in Switzerland, Germany and France he has accumulated an impressive list of connections and experience, working extensively with top riders such as:
- Christina Liebherr - Swiss National Champion and Junior Gold Medallist, Olympic contender 2004, Olympic Bronze 2008
- Jerome Dubbeldam - Dutch Gold medallist, European Young Rider Gold Medallist, Olympic Individual Gold 2000

- Mandy Porter - leading lady rider in the U.S.A.
He has gone on to breed his own international superstars:
- Machno Carwyn ? Twice Individual Gold Medallist European Champion, leading show jumping pony stallion of all time.
- Machno Ramezes ? Elementary Overall National Dressage Champion, reserve champion BD Breeders Championships; score 80.4%
- Machno Rhys ? 2009 Victoria All Welsh show Champion in Australia.
- Machno Della ? Champion Working Hunter Pony along with many in-hand successes
- Machno Showtime ? BEF potential jumping champion, scoring highest marks for horses and ponies.
Machno Stud has won the BEF award for leading sire of Performance Ponies with both Machno Carwyn and Carregcoch Bleddyn.

Pauline is the IPS French connection. She and her husband Peter are long time breeders of sporthorses and performance ponies, mainly Welsh Section Ds. They have had great success in the UK and more recently in Normandy - the heart of horse country - where they now live.
Richard Lyttle

Richard is a Racecourse Manager in Ireland. He has also worked extensively within all aspects of equestrianism, particularly with the organisation of large horse shows, including Royal Dublin Society and Royal Ulster Agricultural Society. Additionally he worked in the USA heading administration at horse shows in New York and California winter circuits. He is a founder of the National Balmoral Showjumping Championships and Showjumping Judge. Former Amateur Showjumping Champion and also a member of the winning Irish Gold Medal Three Day event team in Hasselt, Belgium, he is now a specialist in competition ponies, with former animals having won RDS Showjumping Championships on at least three occasions.
