Carl Hester, 42, is one of Britain?s leading international riders in the sport of dressage. He was brought up in the Channel Island of Sark.
He has represented Great Britain at three Olympic Games, the World Equestrian Games and European Championships.
Carl has amassed a record 52 National Titles and has been National Grand Prix Champion six times.
With his best horse, Escapado, Carl finished 6th at the European Championships in 2005. In 2009 he took Team Silver at the Windsor European Championships on Donald McTaggart?s Liebling II.
Since the start of 2010 Carl and his horses have already notched up an impressive array of International Grand prix winnings
