The Event & Venue

The IPS Event is all about promoting sport pony breeding in the UK. It is an established fact that in the UK we have some of the best performance pony breeding in the world. What the industry has sadly lacked is any form of focus and method of progression.

The event takes place at Aintree International Equestrian Centre on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd October.

About the IPS

The primary object of the IPS is to open dialogue between breeders, producers, trainers and riders. The British Sport Pony industry lacks the sophistication and coordination of the Europeans.

Pony Team selectors across the disciplines find it harder each year to find ponies of the required quality, experience and ability whilst there are a great number of breeders lamenting the lack of experienced producers available to take their stock on develop them.
